2026 International Conference on Civil, Hydraulic Engineering and Disaster Prevention and Control

About to CHEDPC 2026

The 2026 International Conference on Civil, Hydraulic Engineering and Disaster Prevention and Control (CHEDPC 2026) will be held grandly in Wuhan, known as the "Jiangcheng" of China. Wuhan, as the core city of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and a major hub for water conservancy research, has a unique geographical location and strong engineering research capabilities, providing a highly representative background for this conference. This conference focuses on collaborative innovation in the fields of civil engineering, water conservancy engineering, and disaster prevention and control, aiming to build a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform, gathering experts, scholars, engineering technicians, government managers, and representatives of scientific research institutions in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydrology, water resources management, disaster prevention and mitigation, emergency management, and intelligent monitoring. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as intelligent construction and safe operation and maintenance of major infrastructure (bridges, tunnels, dams), optimization of urban flood control and drainage systems under extreme weather conditions, health monitoring and risk assessment of hydraulic structures, early warning and prevention technology for geological disasters (landslides, mudslides), resilient urban design for natural disasters such as earthquakes and wind disasters, the impact of climate change on water resources and water conservancy engineering, smart water conservancy and digital twin basin construction, and the application of green building materials in disaster prevention engineering. Promote the deep integration of theoretical breakthroughs and engineering practice through keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, and engineering case analysis. CHEDPC 2026 emphasizes the core concept of "strengthening the foundation of engineering, benefiting the people through water conservancy, and preventing disasters through technology", and is committed to improving the safety level of major engineering projects and urban resilience, serving the national disaster prevention and reduction strategy and sustainable development goals. The papers accepted for the conference will be recommended for publication in SCI, EI, or Scopus indexed journals.
